President/Decorative Arts Historian

Candace enjoys history and interior design; with an undergraduate degree in Interior Design and a graduate degree in Museum Studies she combines these two interests as a decorative arts historian.  Her historic interiors projects range from privately-owned historic residences to publicly-owned historic sites.  Analysis of historic interiors and replicating/restoring original furnishings and finishes are her strengths.   She has degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and the George Washington University, and was chosen to participate in the Attingham Summer School class of 2010.   Candace is actively involved in Austin through board memberships with the Austin History Center,  the Austin Theater Alliance, and the School of Human Ecology at the University of Texas.
